Hassan Darweesh

Hassan Darweesh graduated as a Research Professor in September 2009 from the Refractories, Ceramics and Building Materials Department, National Research Centre, Cairo, Egypt. He serves as the Vice-Head of the department since January 1, 2010. His general specialty is inorganic chemistry and the accurate specialty is cement and technology of building materials. Darweesh has published 46 papers, most of which were published in specific international journals and some in local and international conferences, in addition to his participation in some local workshops. He also serves as a reviewer in an international journal where he has reviewed about 4 papers and other two papers for local international conferences. Darweesh got a scientific mission in the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology, Brno, Czech Republic, from June 1, 2007, to December 1, 2007. His fields of interest include the following: all types of cements, mortars, and concretes and all types of building materials; gypsum, lime, and all types of building bricks; ceramics, bioceramics, and advanced ceramics; refractories and refractory cements; and biomaterials and nanotechnology.
