David S. Corti

David S. Corti is currently Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the School of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. His research interests are in the areas of molecular thermodynamics, nucleation phenomenon, complex fluids, and molecular simulation. He received a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991 and a Ph.D. degree, also in chemical engineering, from Princeton University in 1997. After completing a postdoctoral position within the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles, Calif, USA, he joined the faculty of the School of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. He received the NSF CAREER Award in 2002, the “Teaching for Tomorrow” Award in 2002 from Purdue University and was named a Purdue University Faculty Scholar in 2011. He is currently serving as the Chair of the Area 1a Programming Committee for AIChE.
