User Biography : Dr Alexandra Joshi-Imre Alexandra Joshi-Imre received her M.S. degree in 2001 from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Notre Dame, Ind, USA, in electrical engineering in 2005. She joined Argonne National Laboratory in 2006 where she resided until 2011 as an Assistant Scientist in the Nanofabrication and Devices Group at the Center for Nanoscale Materials. Her research interest includes plasmonics and nanoscale ferromagnetism, and she is specializing in materials characterization and nanofabrication with special emphasis on focused ion-beam-based techniques. She is a Member of the IEEE, APS, MRS, and MSA.
