Bhawna Sirohi holds an M.B.B.S. degree from the Governmental Medical College, Nagpur University, Maharashtra and Lala Lajpat Rai Medical College (LLRM) Medical college, Meerut, India and the DCH Diploma in child health, (LLRM), Meerut University. She received training in medical oncology at Tata Cancer Hospital, Mumbai and he received the European school of Medical Oncology Accreditation. She was awarded the certificate of completion of training in medical oncology (on specialist Register of GMC), United Kingdom Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board (UKJRCPTB) and was certified in medical oncology. Sirohi serves as an Affiliate Member at the Royal College of Physicians, London. Dr. Sirohi joined Artemis Health Institute in July 2010 as Head of medical and haemato-oncology including bone marrow transplantation. Prior to joining Artemis, Dr. Sirohi was Director of medical oncology at Max healthcare which she joined in October 2009. Dr. Sirohi has been associated with a world renowned cancer institute: Royal Marsden Hospital, London for more than a decade. She has a special interest in treating patients with breast cancer, lung Cancer, myeloma, and lymphoma. She has been an International Leader in research in cancer and has published more than 300 papers in national and international journals. She is the Founder President of New India Cancer Charity initiative (NICCI) which she launched in November 2010. She is on the committee of David Adams Leukaemia Fund, UK and on the management committee of CanSupport, a charitable organization dedicated to palliative care for cancer patients. She is a patron for Voice of Tobacco Victims Campaign (VOTV). She served as a Secretary of the EBMT Nuclear Accident Committee. She served on the American society of Hematology (ASH), the American society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the European School of Medical Oncology (ESMO), the International Myeloma Working Group, the Association of Cancer physicians, UK, and the UK Department of Health interdisciplinary Group on clinical care and service configuration following a radiation accident. Besides, she was on the Management Committee of the Indian Cooperative Oncology Network and on the Executive Committee of the Indian Society of Medical and Pediatric Oncology. She was Topper & Gold Medalist in medical college and she received the Royal Marsden award for excellence. Dr. Sirohi serves an Editor of the Indian Journal of Medical and Pediatric Oncology and an Editor of the Health Positive Expert Panel- NDTV .
