Laurent Moccozet received his PhD (Hand modeling and animation for virtual humans) in Information Systems at the University of Geneva in 1996. From 1990 to 2008 he has been a research assistant and senior researcher at the laboratory MIRALab (http://www.miralab.ch/), University of Geneva. Since 2008, he is an assistant professor at the Institute of Services Science (http://iss.unige.ch/). He has been particularly working in free form geometric deformation models, semantic shapes description and annotation and medical visualisation and simulation. His current research interests are related to graphics and multimédia educational information systems for managing, sharing and communicating knowledge. He is also a lecturer at the University of Neuchâtel.
