Naoki Okada
Naoki Okada is a Ph.D. student in the Graduate School of Systems and Information Engineering, University of Tsukuba, Japan. His main research interests are in computational optics, electromagnetic simulations, and algorithm development. In particular, he focuses on the use of high accuracy nonstandard finite difference time domain (FDTD) algorithms for light scattering simulation and optical waveguide device design. He is also interested in parallel computation using the graphics processing unit (GPU), and photorealistic rendering of structural colors such as Morpho butterfly.
