Letizia Angiolella
Letizia Angiolella graduated from the University of Rome La Sapienza, Rome, Italy, in biological science, in 1981 and finished the postgraduate Ph.D. degree in experimental medicine, in 1988. She has been serving as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine, University of Rome La Sapienza since 2006. Her areas of expertise include role of the major cell wall proteins and mechanism of drug-resistance in Candida albicans, study of antifungal activity of new natural or synthesized molecules, and study of principal virulence factor in Pseudomonas syringae.
