Ali Cemal Benim received his B.S. degree from Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Bosphorus University, Istanbul, Turkey, with GPA 3.34. He received his M.S. degree from Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Bosphorus University, Istanbul, Turkey, in “Finite element analysis of flow between two finite rotating disks.” He received his Ph.D. degree in “Finite element modeling of turbulent diffusion fames” from the Institute of Process Engineering and Power Plant Technology, Faculty of Energy Technology, University of Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany. He is Professor of energy technology at Department of Mechanical Engineering and Process Technology, Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Düsseldorf, Germany. He was a Research Assistant in the Computation of Secondary Flows in Axial Flow Turbines project at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Bosphorus University, Istanbul, Turkey, a Research Engineer in Modeling of Flow Processes in Combustors with the Method of Finite Elements project at Combustion Department, Institute of Process Engineering and Power Plant Technology, University of Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany, and Manager of the Group Computational Flow and Combustion Modeling at the Fluid Mechanics and Combustion Department, Research and Development Thermal Machinery, ABB Turbo Systems AG, Baden, Switzerland.
