Ramazan Akdemir

Ramazan Akdemir was born on 25 November 1970. Akdemir graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Ege University, 1995. Akdemir completed the resident of cardiology at Cardiology Clinic, Kosuyolu Heart Education and Research Hospital, Istanbul, 2001. Akdemir was an Assistant Professor at the Cardiology Department, Düzce Faculty of Medicine, Abant Izzet Baysal University, 2001 and an Associate Professor at the Cardiology Department, Düzce Faculty of Medicine, Abant Izzet Baysal University, 2005. Akdemir was the Cardiology Clinic Chief, Cardiology Clinic, Diskapi Education and Research Hospital, Ministry of Health 2005. Akdemir was a Professor at the Department of Cardiology, Medical School, Sakarya University, Sakarya, 2010. Akdemir specialty is cardiology: (1) interventional cardiology: especially acute myocardial infarction management, primary PCI and (2) echocardiography. Akdemir was awarded (1) Turkish Society of Cardiology: Best abroad publication award at 2006 with Color M-Mode Regurgitant Flow Propagation Velocity…,” (2) TÜ BITAK: total ten number abroad publication incentive award, (3) Abant Izzet Baysal University publication award, 2004, (4) Turkish Sleep Medicine Society: Second best poster award, 2007; Relationship between H-FABP and echocardiographic parameters in obstructive sleep apnea patients, and (5) Doctor of the year award at 2008 by the Ministry of Health. Akdemir is a Member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, and the European Association of Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (EAPCI).
