Francesco Barioli

Francesco Barioli obtained a Ph.D. degree in pure mathematics at Dipartimento di Matematica Pura ed Applicata, University of Padova, Italy, in 2001. Since August 2011, he has been Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Chattanooga, TN, USA. His research interests include matrix theory: positive semidefinite matrices, nonnegative and doubly nonnegative matrices, and completely positive matrices; spectral graph theory: graphs of matrices, symmetric inverse eigenvalue problem, and minimal rank problem subject to graph constraints; graph theory: criticality and total domination on families of undirected graphs.
