Kingman Cheung

Kingman Cheung received his Ph.D. degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992. From 1992 to 2000, he worked as a Research Associates in various institutions, including Northwestern University, University of Texas at Austin, and University of California at Davis. Between 2000 and 2003, he worked as a scientist in the National Center for Theoretical Sciences in Taiwan. Since 2003, he has held professorship in the National Tsing Hua University. His awards include Academia Sinica Academic Award for Junior Research Investigators, 2004, National Science Council Wu Ta-You Memorial Prize, 2004, and the 39th Sun-Yat-Sin Cultural Foundation Academic Publication Award, 2004. Since November 2006, he is appointed as a Center Scientist of the National Center for Theoretical Sciences. His research interests include collider physics, physics beyond the standard model, supersymmetry, extra-dimensions, dark matter, and the corresponding phenomenology.
