Hemang Parikh

Hemang Parikh was born in Ahmedabad, India, in 1978. He received his Ph.D. degree at Lund University, Lund, Sweden in 2009. Currently, he is working as a Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, USA. In 2010, he was recipient of the Robert A. Welch Fellowship. His main expertise is in the biostatistical and bioinformatical analyses of next-generation sequencing data, including deep DNA sequencing, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) sequencing, and RNA and microRNA sequencing as well as other large-scale genomic approaches. His research focuses on different types of cancers and endocrinological disorders.
