Pablo Lorenzo-Luis

Pablo A. Lorenzo-Luis was born in Barquisimeto (Venezuela). He completes his B.S. degree at the University of La Laguna, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, and his Ph.D. degree in 1998 at the same university, under the guidance of Prof. P. Gili, in the field of polyoxometalates chemistry. Soon after, he moved on to one year as a postdoc research at the former ISSECC CNR, now ICCOM CNR, (Florence, Italy) with Dr. S. Midollini, doing metal phosphonate chemistry on coordination complexes. He spent two months (2001) in the same place, with Dr. M. Peruzzini dedicated to organometallic chemistry and catalysis. From 2004 his work is characterized by its multidisciplinary, including synthetic, structural, and characterization studies, and by a network of collaborations. He is currently an Inorganic Chemistry Professor at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of the University of La Laguna (2004), Coauthor of 52 scientific publications, Supervisor of 2 Ph.D. with a mention ?Doctor Europeus? (2010, 2011) and 22 poster presentations.
