Paolo Ciancarini
Paolo Ciancarini has been a Professor of computer science at the University of Bologna since 1992. He graduated in computer science in 1982 and got a Ph.D. degree in informatics in 1988, both at the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy. He is the Director of the Joint Ph.D. School in ICT of the University of Bologna. He is also a Member-at-Large of the Ph.D. School in Computer Science and Engineering of the IMT School in Lucca. He is the Director of CINI (National Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics). His research interests include fundamentals of software architecture, formal methods for software engineering, coordination models and languages, multiagent systems, document engineering, game playing programming, and entertainment computing.
