Thomas Berberich works as a Head of laboratory centre, Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre (BiK-F) since 2010. From 2008 to 2010, he served as a Researcher at the Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre (BiK-F), Frankfurt. In addition, from 2005 to 2007, he worked as a Researcher in Iwate Biotechnology Research Center (IBRC), Kitakami, Japan. From 1996 to 2004, he served as a Scientific Assistant and Researcher at the Botanical Institute, Goethe-University Frankfurt. Moreover, from 1993 to 1995, Berberich worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Biotechnology Institute, Akita, Japan. From 1988 to 1993, Berberich served as a Researcher at the Botanical Institute, Goethe-University Frankfurt. He received Habilitation and Privatdozent academic degree from Goethe-University Frankfurt, Germany (2002) and the Doctorate degree from Goethe-University Frankfurt, Germany (Dr. phil. nat.) in 1992.
