Michael S. Timms

Michael S. Timms was born in 1956 at Darlington, UK and obtained the MB ChB. degree from Leeds University Medical School in June 1980. Dr. Timms was a Senior Lecturer and Senior Registrar at Manchester University Medical School from 1999 to 2002. He was also a Consultant ORL and Clinical Operations Director for special surgery in East Lancashire, UK, from 1992 till 2010. His main research interests are focused on developing Coblation for wide range of applications in ORL, with lectures and live surgical demonstrations around the globe. He is currently concentrating on restoring the cochlear implant programme at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he works.
