Xudong Huang

Xudong Huang is an Assistant Professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School, Mass, USA and the Director for Conjugate and Medicinal Chemistry Laboratory, Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at Radiology Department of Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH). He received his Ph.D. degree in Nuclear Science and Engineering from MIT. He performed his postdoctoral work at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH)/Harvard Medical School. His current research thrust is to high-throughput screen and design, synthesize, and characterize targeted theranostic compounds for human diseases such as neurological disorders, cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. In addition, his lab is exploring applications of biomedical informatics (such as medical image analysis and bioinformatics) and cheminformatics (such as structure-based rational drug design) in systems biology that is related to etiopathogenesis of various human diseases.
