Alexander Storch

Alexander Storch was born in Bochum, Germany, in 1968. He earned his medical degree from the Free University of Berlin, Germany, and his M.D. degree in neurobiology from the Johannes-Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany, and he went on to work at the Department of Neurology at the University of Ulm, Germany, where he started his clinical and research career. He works now as a Vice-Chairman and a Professor of Neurodegenerative Diseases at the Department of Neurology at the Dresden University of Technology (Technische Universität Dresden), and he serves as a Board Member of the DFG-Research Center and Cluster of Excellence at the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD). His principal research fields are neurodegenerative disease with particular focus on innovative restorative therapeutic approaches in Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases.
