Olga Korostynsk

Olga Korostynska is a Lecturer in the School of Physics at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) in Dublin, Ireland. In 2004–2010, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Limerick, Limerick, Ireland. She received her B.Eng. (1998) and M.S. degrees (2000) from the National Technical University of Ukraine (KPI), Kiev, Ukraine specializing in biomedical engineering. Her Ph.D. degree (2003) is from the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering in the University of Limerick, Limerick, Ireland. Dr. Korostynska published a book, few book chapters, and over 100 research papers in journals and conference proceedings. Her research interests are devoted to thin- and thick-film technology; polymers and mixed oxide thin- and thick-film sensors development including humidity, pressure, strain gauge, optical radiation, gas sensors, pH, and DNA sensors; sensor integration into electronic nose systems with the focus on miniaturized sensors for medical applications and wireless sensing; nanosensors arrays manufacture.
