Giovanna Orsini obtained her degree in Dentistry at the University of L’Aquila, in Italy, in 1994. After completing a certification in esthetic dentistry from the University of California, Los Angeles, USA, in 2000, she received an M.S. degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Montreal in Canada. In 2005, Dr. Orsini completed a Ph.D. degree in stomatology and oral sciences from the University of Chieti-Pescara in Italy. She is now an Associate Professor of Dental Morphology at the Polytechnic University of Marche in Italy. Dr. Orsini’s research interests focus on clinical trials, oral calcified tissues, dental biomaterials, and tissue engineering. She has received several research awards and has authored or coauthored over 70 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Orsini is a Member of the International Association for Dental Research and an Active Member of the Italian Society of Operative Dentistry.
