Michael T. Rowe

Michael T. Rowe earned the B.S. degree (with honors) in applied microbiology, Strathclyde University, Glasgow, Scotland, UK. he received the Ph.D. degree in dairy microbiology, The Queen's University of Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. He serves as a Principal Scientific Officer, Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute, and as a Lead Scientist at the UK National Reference Laboratory for the microbiological testing of dairy products. He is a Committee Member of British Standards Institute Technical Committee AW/9 for microbiological testing of foods. He authored over 150 scientific publications in the areas of food spoilage and safety.
