Changlun Chen is an Associate Professor in Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his Ph.D. degree (2008) from Hefei Institutes of Physical Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hefei, China. In 2008–2010, he worked in Shizuoka University Japan and then returned to the institute. Chen’s research is now focused on the environmental fate of radionuclides and heavy metal ions, nanomaterial functionalization, the application of nanostructured materials, and nanotechnology for wastewater treatment. Chen has received several honors and awards. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed journal publications with over 1500 citations. Chen is a Member of the Editorial Board of The Scientific World Journal and Advances in Analytical Chemistry.
