Byeong Seok Ahn

Byeong Seok Ahn received the B.S. degree in applied statistics from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in 1987, the M.S. degree in management science, and the Ph.D. degree in management engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Seoul, Korea, in 1990 and in 1998, respectively. Currently, he serves as a Professor at the College of Business and Economics at Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Korea. In 2003 and 2011, he joined the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and San Jose State University (SJSU), as a Visiting Scholar, under the financial support of LG Yonam Foundation and Fulbright respectively. He is a Member of International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making. His research interests include decision analysis, intelligent (group) decision support system, and soft computing. He has coauthored over 35 articles on these topics in several journals.
