Yousef S. Khader
Yousef S. Khader was born in Alsarih, Jordan, in 1970. He serves as an Associate Professor at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST). After he earned his BDS degree in (1994), he studied at JUST and earned an M.S. degree in epidemiology (1997). Then, he earned an M.S. degree and S.D. degree in biostatistics from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA USA. In 2007, He earned an M.S. degree in health professions education (MHPE) from the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands. In 2009, He earned Fellowship of the Faculty of Public Health through distinction (FFPH)/ Faculty of Public Health of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. During the past 8 years, he has been involved intensively in research training, research, and public health policy. He won two reputable awards for his scientific contributions: Prince Al-Hassan and SCOPUS awards for his contributions to science and research in Jordan. He served as a Director of the Department of Health and Medical Sciences at The Higher Council of Science and Technology, 2008-2010, where he was responsible for supporting and funding health research in Jordan. Yousef Khader served as a member in the Pharmaceutical Studies Committee/ Unit of Pharmaceutical Studies, Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA). He served as a chairman for many committees and national teams such as The National Team for Human Resources Management, The National Team for Mental Health, The National Team for Diabetes Prevention and Control, Health Research and Studies Committee, and Evidence-based Medicine Committee.
