Qingqi Pei is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Xidian University, Xi'an, China, where he earned his M.S. degree and his Ph.D. degree. Now, Pei is being supported by the Program for New Century Excellent Talents at Xidian University, China. Now, as one of the core Members of the Yangtze River Scholars Team of Ministry of Education on the Key Technology of Network and Information Security, Pei’s research interests mainly focus on wireless network and security, digital rights management, and so forth. In recent years, he has participated in or taken charge of over 20 research projects including China National Natural Science Foundation of China, National High Technology Research, and Development Program of China and Research on Key Techniques of China National Science Foundation. For his research efforts and outstanding achievements, he has been awarded the First-Class Prize of Chinese Institute of Electronics Science Award of Electronic Information Technology in 2008, First-Class Prize of Science and Technology Award of Shaanxi Province in 2009, Second-Class Prize of Outstanding Achievements in Scientific Research of Higher School (Science and Technology) Technology Invention Award in 2008 and 2011, and First-Class Prize of Science and Technology Invention Award of China Aviation Society. Besides, he published over 60 papers, including 16 papers indexed by SCI and 60 papers indexed by EI in international journals and conferences and held 25 patents together with 18 items for Registration of Computer Software Copyright. Also, Pei has participated in setting several items of standards and those that have been published include 2 items of China Electronics Industry Standard and 3 items of International Electrotechnical Commission Standards.
