Ferdinand Rudolf Waldenberger

Ferdinand Rudolf Waldenberger received an M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. He serves as a Professor of cardiac surgery. From 1976 till 1981, he studied at Medical School, Innsbruck. Waldenberger received Dr.univ. med. on March 25th , 1981 from the University of Innsbruck, Austria and Dr. med. sc. on February 24th , 1995, Leuven, Belgium. He served as an Associate Professor on March 23rd 1998 at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. He had surgical speciality in 1988 and cardiac surgical speciality in 1998. He worked at Hospital Barmherzige Brüder, Linz; Austria, 1981, Division for Artificial Organs, Salt Lake City, UT, USA, 1983, and Surgical Department, Cardio-Vascular Center, KH Vienna-Hietzing, Vienna, Austria since 1997 till present. Currently, he is a Senior Staff Member of Surgical Department, Cardio-Vascular Surgical Center, KH Vienna-Hietzing, Austria. His areas of expertise are thoracic aortic aneurysms, neuromonitoring, neuroprotection, beating heart surgery, aortic valve surgery, total quality management, and process management.
