Lina Hu

Lina Hu was born on 28 February 1979. From 1996 to 2000, Hu studied in Shandong University of Science and Technology, Shandong, China. From 2001 to 2003, Hu received the M.S. degree from Shandong University, Shandong Province, China, followed by the Ph.D. degree from the same university (2003–2006). Hu was a Research Assistant in Key laboratory of Liquid Structure and Heredity of Materials, Ministry of Education, Shandong University (2000–2001). From 2003 to 2006, Hu started teaching in the Key laboratory of Liquid Structure and Heredity of Materials, Ministry of Education, Shandong University. From 2006 to 2007, Hu conducted postdoctoral research at the Department of Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Environmental Engineering, Aalborg University. From 2007 till now, Hu has been an Associate Professor at Shandong University. Hu’s research interests include structural relaxations in both amorphous solids and liquids, dynamic and thermodynamic properties of glass formers and their correlations, the characteristics of potential energy landscape for different types of glasses, and the nature of glass transition phenomenon and the related glass-forming ability of glass formers.
