Wan-Liang Lu is currently a Professor, Deputy Chairman of the Department of Pharmaceutics, and the Vice Dean of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Peking University. He received his Ph.D. degree from China Pharmaceutical University, Nanjing, China. He was a Research Scientist at the National University of Singapore (NUS), National University Hospital (NUH), Johns Hopkins Singapore International Medical Centre (2001–2003), and Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical University (2004-2005). He is on the Editorial Boards for the Chinese Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal and a referee for international peer-reviewed journals related to cancer research and pharmaceutical sciences. His research on drug delivery, cancer multidrug resistance, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacology resulted in 120 research papers. He was the recipient of the Natural Science Award of China Education Ministry (1st prize) in 2009.
