Daniel Neureiter

Daniel Neureiter was born in Jülich, Germany and completed his M.D. degree. In addition, he served as a Consultant of pathology at the University of Erlangen-Nuernberg and Institute of Pathology (Professor Th. Kirchner). Here, main research projects dealt with the association of chronic inflammatory diseases and the extracellular matrix components. After changing to the Institute of Pathology at Salzburg (Professor O. Dietze), he was promoted to an Assistant Professor at the Paracelsus Private Medical University Salzburg and is now Chief Senior Consultant. His main research interest is the morphological and molecular embryonic differentiation patterning, especially of solid tumours in the gastrointestinal tract.
