Hideki Tsuge

Hideki Tsuge was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1942. He received the Ph. D. degree in chemical engineering from Keio University in 1973. In 1973?1975, he had research experience in RWTH Aachen, West Germany. After coming back to Japan, he returned to Keio University and was promoted to full professor in 1988. His main research interests lie in chemical engineering and especially separation engineering, bubble engineering, crystallization, bubble column and gas absorption. In 2007 he retired Keio University and is now Professor Emeritus, Keio University. In 2007, he was presented the Society Award of Society of Sea Water Science, Japan by the study on reactive crystallization of the dissolved materials in the sea water and also the Society Award of Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan by the study on the bubble characteristics and its engineering application. He was recommended as the honorary member of Society of Sea Water Science, Japan in 2008 and the honorary member of Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan in 2010.
