Hyeong-Yeon Lee

Hyeong-Yeon Lee was born in Gochang, Republic of Korea, in 1961. He received his Ph.D. degree from the KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) in 1995 and his major is fracture mechanics of mechanical engineering. Lee joined the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute in 1986 and has been working for development of design and assessment of high temperature reactor system and components especially for sodium-cooled fast reactor. A number of technical papers (SCI class) have been published on creep, fatigue, and creep-fatigue interactions of reactor components by him. He has reviewed a number of Journal papers (IJPVP, NED, NET, JMST, JAI, etc.).
