Man-Fung Yuen

Man-Fung Yuen obtained his M.B.B.S. degree in 1992, M.D. degree (receiving the Sir Patrick Manson Gold Medal) in 2001 and Ph.D. degree in 2005. Yuen serves as a Council Member for a number of organizations, including the Asia Pacific Hepatitis B Management Advisory Board and the Hong Kong Society of Gastroenterology. In addition, he is the Vice President of the Hong Kong Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. His main research interests include the prevention, natural history, molecular virology, and treatment of CHB, including treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma. Moreover, Yuen is the author of over 195 research papers published in various international journals. Yuen is the Chair Professor of gastroenterology and hepatology in the Department of Medicine, University of Hong Kong, Pokfulam, Hong Kong. He is also serving as an Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the same university.
