Atsushi Mizota

Atsushi Mizota was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. He graduated from Chiba University School of Medicine, Japan in 1984 and received MD. After the residency of Ophthalmology, he studied electrophysiology of vision at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in University of Miami form 1988 to1990. He received the degree of PhD from Chiba University in 1991. He has been appointed as a Professor and Chairman of Department of Ophthalmology, Teikyo University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan since 2009. He was a vice president of international society of clinical electrophysiology of vision from 2004-2011, board member of Japanese society of electrophysiology of vison, the Japanese Neuro-ophthalmology Society and Japanese society of ocular tumor, now.
