Stefan P. Renner
Stefan P. Renner received the M.D. degree in medicine at the Heinrich-Heine University of D üsseldorf, Dusseldorf, Germany (1994–2000). In 2001, Renner's dissertation was on "Evaluation of risk and perception of prevention on breast and genital carcinoma of women in the gynecological private practice." Since 2001, Renner is a Resident Physician at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University Hospital Erlangen. Renner was Medical Specialist in obstetrics and gynecology (2006), Board Certified Specialist in gynecological oncology (BLÄK) and gynecological endoscopy (MIC 3, AGE) (2011), and a Specialist in pelvic neuroanatomy (International School of Neuroanatomy, Professor Possover, Zurich) (2012). Renner's clinical focus is on gynecological disorders, that is, endometriosis, fibroids, genital malformations, urogynecology, and gynecological oncology. Renner was a Head of the Clinical and Scientific Endometriosis Center at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (2008) and was on the editorial board of multiple peer-reviewed journals in gynecology and obstetrics. Renner's research focus was on gynecological oncology and endometriosis.
