Roberto Lopez-Valcarce

Roberto López-Valcarce was born in Spain
in 1971. He received the Telecommunications
Engineer degree from Universidad de
Vigo, Vigo, Spain in 1995, and the M.S. and
Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from
the University of Iowa, Iowa City, USA, in
1998 and 2000 respectively. From 1995 to
1996 he was a systems engineer with Intelsis.
He is currently a Research Associate
(Ramón y Cajal Fellow) with the Signal
Theory and Communications Department at Universidad de Vigo.
His research interests are in adaptive signal processing, communications,
and traffic monitoring systems.
