Konstantinos Blekas

Konstantinos D. Blekas received a Diploma in electrical engineering in 1993 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering in 1997, both from the National Technical University of Athens. Since 2001, he has been working at the Department of Computer Science, University of Ioannina, Greece, where he serves currently as an Assistant Professor. He has coauthored more than 40 refereed journal and conference articles. His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, and pattern recognition with applications to computer vision, robotics, bioinformatics, and medical imaging.
