Antonio Gustavo Gonzalez

Antonio Gustavo Gonzalez received the Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the University of Seville, Spain, in 1986. His research is focused on several lines, some of them a bit outside analytical chemistry, such as chemometric pattern recognition covering methodological developments and its application to the authentication of food and beverages, sensory analysis of foods, experimental design and optimization of the analytical process, quality assurance, validation of analytical methods, and estimation of the measurement uncertainty. Moreover, within the realm of physical chemistry, solvent effects on dissociation and drug solubility, thermodynamics of irreversible processes, and chaos theory and complexity. As a Researcher, he has been involved in several research projects and published about 140 papers on the aforementioned subjects.
