Tiing Leong Ang

Tiing Leong Ang graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore, Singapore, in 1995. He obtained his Postgraduate Qualification in internal medicine MRCP(UK) from the Royal Colleges of Physicians, UK, in 2000 and commenced advanced specialty training in gastroenterology in 2001. He was certified as a Gastroenterologist in 2004. He was awarded a training award (HMDP) by the Ministry of Health, Singapore. Dr. Ang is currently a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, as well as an International Member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, and Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh and London). He is currently also a Member of the Executive Committee, Gastroenterology Society of Singapore. Dr. Ang has authored and coauthored several papers and book chapters in the field of both endoscopy as well as gastroenterology. He is a Clinical Reviewer for the National Medical Research Council, Singapore, as well as for several international journals such as Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Alimentary Pharmacology and Therapeutics, European Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He has also been invited as a Faculty Member of endoscopy workshops such as the ASEAN Basic EUS Course 2006 (Singapore), GIHep 2006 and 2007 (Singapore), and Endoscopy 2007 (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).
