Kue-Hong Chen

Kue-Hong Chen was born in Taiwan in 1971. He received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Harbor and River Engineering from National Taiwan Ocean University in 2003. From 2003 to 2004, He earned a Postdoctoral Fellowship at National Taiwan University. From 2004 to 2007, he was a Faculty Member at the Department of Information Management at Toko University. Since 2007, he has been a Faculty Member at the Department of Civil Engineering at the National I-Lan University. His research results during 1998-2010 can be categorized into five areas: fast multipole method, adaptive BEM, dual BEM, water wave problem, inverse problems. During this period, he made an in-depth understanding of the theme of the BEM. Currently, his research interests are in the fields of developing novel meshless methods. Until now, he has published over forty papers on BEM and meshless method in SCI Journals. Since 2008, he has been a Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Engineering of NIU.
