Tianyou Zhai

Tianyou Zhai received his Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS), Beijing, China, in 2008. Afterwards, he joined the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow and then as an ICYS-MANA Researcher. Currently, he serves as a full-time Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. His research interests include the controlled synthesis and exploration of fundamental physical properties of inorganic functional nanomaterials, as well as their promising applications in energy science, electronics, and optoelectronics. He has authored and coauthored above 80 peer-reviewed journal articles and 5 book chapters, coedited 1 book on nanotechnology, and held 4 patents. His publications have been cited above 2900 times (h-index is 31).
