Tianyou Zhai

Tianyou Zhai received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou, China, in 2003 and then received his Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS), Beijing, China. Afterwards, he joined National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow, and now he is an International Center for Young Scientists–International Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (ICYS-MANA) Researcher within NIMS. He has authored and coauthored more than 50 refereed journal publications and 5 book chapters. Zhai's publications have been cited about 700 times. His research interests include the controlled fabrication and characterization of 1D nanostructures and their device applications in electronics and optoelectronics.
