Bingyun Li received his Ph.D. degree from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2000. Currently, Li serves as a Principal Investigator at the Department of Orthopedics, School of Medicine, West Virginia University (http://www.hsc.wvu.edu/som/ortho/nanomedica-group). He is serving as an Editorial Member of several reputed journals like The Scientific World Journal, the Journal of Bioengineering and Biomedical Science, Recent Patents on Nanotechnology, and World Journal of Orthopedics. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed research papers and book chapters. He is a Member of the Orthopedic Research Society, the Society for Biomaterials, and Materials Research Society. Li has been an Invited Speaker, Panelist, or Cochair for a variety of events related to nanomedicine, bone infection, and biomaterials. He has given more than 20 invited talks in national and international meetings and peer universities. Li's research interests include nanomedicine, nanotoxicity, bioengineering, biomaterials, drug delivery, bone infection, and nanotechnology.
