Yoshinobu Sato

Yoshinobu Sato was born in Fukushima, Japan, in 1959. He received the Doctor of Medical and the Ph.D. degree from the Niigata University, Niigata, Japan, in 1985 and 1992, respectively. From 1988 to 1989, Sato studied the organ transplantation in The Institute of Medical Science, The University of Tokyo. From 1993 to 1996, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Faculte de Medicine Paris-Sud Universities Paris XI, Hopital Paul Brousse Pole Foie-Cancer Centre, Paris, France. In 1996, he worked at the Department of Transplant Immunology and Surgery, Kyoto University of Medicine. Presently, he is an Associate Professor of the Niigata University Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences. He is hepatobiliary and transplant surgeon. He is interested in liver regeneration and transplant immunology.
