Dongliang Sun received the B.S. degree in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning engineering and the M.S. degree in engineering thermophysics from the Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Lanzhou, China, in 2000 and 2005, respectively. Then, Sun obtained a Ph.D. degree in engineering thermophysics from the Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China, in 2009. Sun has worked as a Lecturer at the North China Electric Power University, Baoding, China, from 2009 to 2012; an Associate Director at the New Energy Thermophysics Research Center from 2010 to present; and an Associate Professor at the North China Electric Power University from 2013 to present. Sun's research interests are in computational fluid dynamics/numerical heat transfer, heat transfer enhancement, efficient segregated algorithm for solving the fluid flow and heat transfer problems, multiphase flows, and heat utilization of renewable energy.
