Jos van Ommeren

Jos van Ommeren is an Associate Professor of economics at the Free University of Amsterdam and a Research Fellow of the Tinbergen Institute. He obtained his M.S. degree from the London School of Economics and has Ph.D. degree from the Free University of Amsterdam. His previous affiliations include the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, Cranfield School of Management, University College London, UK, and a visiting position at the Frisch centre, Department of Economics, University of Oslo, Norway. Among other things, Ommeren has published in the Journal of Urban Economics, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Journal of Regional Science, and Economica. His current research interests include parking, fringe benefits, commuting, job search, spatial economics, housing economics, and transport economics.
