Mikael Elias
Mikael Elias received his B.S. (2004) and M.Sc. (2006) degrees from Université de Lorraine and his Ph.D. degree (2009) from Université Aix-Marseille (France). He received the Young Scientist award Dina-Surdin from the French Biochemical Society (2009). He joined the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel) as a post-doctoral FEBS fellow (2009). He works as a visiting scientist - Marie Curie Fellow (2010) with Prof. Dan. S. Tawfik at the Weizmann Institute. His current fields of research encompass molecular biology, biochemistry, structural enzymology, protein evolution, molecular docking, molecular recognition and design, sub-Angstrom resolution X-ray structures and crystallographic methods.
