Jenny M. Wilkinson
Jenny M. Wilkinson received a B.S. degree (honors) with majors in physiology and pharmacology from the University of Queensland, Australia in 1988 followed by a Ph.D. degree in which she investigated the role of heat shock proteins in caffeine’s embryotoxic effects. Other qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in further education and training and an M.S. degree in high education. Dr. Wilkinson has work at a number of Australian universities most recently Charles Sturt University and has published widely in many aspects of complementary medicine. Dr. Wilkinson has broad based research interests in a number of areas of complementary medicines; these interests are organized into three main themes: (1) pharmacology of herbal and other natural products; (2) integration of conventional and complementary medicine particularly by health professionals; (3) education of complementary medicine practitioners. She currently serves as grant reviewer and is both a reviewer and editorial member for several journals.
