You-Chiun Wang received the B.Eng. and M. Eng. degrees in computer science and information engineering from the National Chung-Cheng University and the National Chiao-Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2001 and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the National Chiao-Tung University, as well, in 2006. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science, National Chiao-Tung University, during 2007-2011. Since 2011, he has been working at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Sun Yat-Sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. His research aims at the design and evaluation of wireless communication protocols and distributed network algorithms. Currently, his research interests focus on broadband wireless communications, sensor and actuator networks, and mobile and pervasive computing. He has published more than 30 academic papers in these fields. He is a Member of the IEEE and the IEEE Communication Society.
