Marco Sparaco

Marco Sparaco received his Medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Naples from 1978 till 1985. From 1986 till 1989, he graduated with Magna Cum Laude after residency at the Institute of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Naples. From 1990 till 1994, he received his Ph.D. degree from Dottorato di Ricerca in Scienze Neurologiche (equivalent to Ph.D. programme in neurological sciences), Institute of Neurology. Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Verona. From 1989 to 1990, he was a fellow at the Institute of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Verona. In 2001, he was a fellow at the Stroke Unit and Laboratorio di Neurosonologia, Dipartimento di Neuroscienze, Università di Perugia and in 2003, he was a fellow at Unità di Trattamento Neurovascolare, Università degli studi di Roma la Sapienza. From 1989 to 1990, he served as a General Practitioner on Night Guard Duty, U.S.L. Rovereto,(TN), from 1992 to 1997, an Assistant Attending at Area Funzionale di Medicina, Ospedale Civile di Maddaloni (CE), from 2001 to 2002, an Associated Attending at the Department of Neurology, A.O. “G. Rummo” – Benevento (BN), and since 2002, as a Chief of Stroke Unit at the Department of Neurology, A.O. “G. Rummo” – Benevento (BN).
