Regina Célia Reis Nunes obtained a B.S. degree in chemistry from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1968), Brazil, M.S. degree in organic chemistry from the Chemistry Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1975), Brazil, and Ph.D. in polymer science and technology from the Institute of the Federal University of Macromolecules of Rio de Janeiro (1989). She has been serving as an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro since 1990 and is currently working as a Visiting Professor at the Institute of Macromolecules, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. She got experience in the area of polymers, rubbers emphasizing, or elastomers, acting on the following topics: polymeric nanocomposites with cellulose composites with elastomeric special property and loads minerals in polymer compositions.
