Roberto Di Pietro
Roberto Di Pietro holds a Ph.D. degree in computer science (major in security) from the Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy, a specialization Diploma degree in operations research and strategic decisions from the same university, and an M.S. degree in computer science from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy. For more than 20 years in the systems security field, currently he is the Global Security Research Head at Nokia Bell Labs in Paris and an Associate Professor in computer science at the University of Padua, Padua, Italy. His research interests include distributed systems security, cloud security, virtualization security, computer forensics, and analytics. He has been publishing 180+ scientific contributions on these subjects, totaling 5000+ citations (h-index=36, i-index=87). He is a Member of ACM and IEEE and a certified professional engineer in information engineering, holding also some professional certifications: CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, and CISSP.
